A Viral Live That Drew Attention

Before the release, Tasnia Farin created buzz through a dramatic Facebook Live where she appeared distressed, saying she could not find her sister. Viewers initially believed she was facing a real crisis, but she later clarified that the video was part of the film’s promotional campaign. The moment successfully introduced audiences to the intense themes of Nikosh.

Storyline Rooted in Reality

Nikosh follows Sultana and Liza, two sisters who live in a slum.

Director Rubel Hasan shared that he chose Tasnia Farin for the lead role because of her strong acting skills and ability to portray a character with depth and resilience. Makhnun Sultana Mahima plays the role of Liza, bringing authenticity to the bond portrayed between the two sisters.
